Open year round!  Cypress Hills - in season all year long!

Is your family, friends, or business looking for a new gathering place for a reunion, team building work retreat, school group excursion, horseback riding club adventure, or even a western wedding; something different and fun with a western theme?

Head for the Cypress Hills and round 'em up at the Historic Reesor Ranch!

Take a look at our restored barn facility especially renovated for privacy, comfort & fun!

Originally built in 1905 with hand hewn logs from the Cypress Hills, this historic barn, once used to stable horses and cattle, has been carefully restored to preserve its original log walls and rustic atmosphere.  We are proud to be promoting Saskatchewan's Architectural Heritage which is a non-renewable resource.

With a desire to honor our ranching neighbors all of our barn bedrooms are named after local pioneer ranch families.  Decorated with their historic family  photos & stories you will learn the fascinating history of our local Cypress Hills ranch neighbors.

GUEST COMMENTS:

This has truly been a place of rest, adventure and a rememberance of fond memories from our childhood days.  The scenery is breathtaking.  Thank you for your warm and friendly hospitality.   Bernie & Shirly Karsted, Interchurch Family Reunion, Saskatoon

We were so impressed with the cleanliness and decor of the log barn.  You have done a great job with it.  Our Leslie was excited to be able to sleep in the Leslie Ranch room.  It was an enjoyable history lesson to check out the different rooms. We have some great family memories of kids chasing grandpa with the lasso and vice versa, ping pong and fooseball games, hikes and horses.  It was a great weekend.  We will certainly recommend Reesor Ranch to friends.  Thank you again.  Cheryl Searle, Mortlach, Sask. - 50th Wedding Anniversary

I really don't know where to begin to describe how much our entire family enjoyed the log barn. There are so many treasures in there!!  My Dad was thrilled to be able to tell us what some of the artifacts were, but there were a few that eluded him!! (One we found out later from Theresa was a berry picker!)  The rooms were all so cute, not over done at all.  The kitchen was more than we expected, what a great work and serving area.  The games room is really good!  We are a family of campers and having power and fridges was really a treat for all of us!!  We will definitely be back and next time the kids will be a bit older so hopefully we can enjoy the horses as well next visit.  The boys really enjoyed the calf roping lesson!!  The ranch is a true treasure.  Thank you.  Terry Birecki

I don't know where to start.....we had an amazing time at Karyn & Dave's wedding.  The view fantastic, weather hot, lack of bugs, hosts were truly awesome, so very kind & helpful with all our needs.  Your ranch is a place that more people need to be aware of, we all felt at home, had lots of laughter & even singing....hope we didn't keep you up all night!  Everyone at the wedding was so very impressed with the ranch & its' many offerings from horseback riding to walks.  Thank you sooooo much for sharing your home; we loved it very much.  Jerine Johnson
